1. General Information

You must understand the risks involved in participating in this type of event. It is an adventure and can therefore be dangerous. You are responsible for everything you do and we accept NO responsibility whatsoever.

JackRabbit Rally is NOT A RACE or time trial. Participants must not compete at any level with each other or other road users. Anyone found doing so will be asked to leave the event. You must drive with care and attention for your own safety and the safety of others at all times. The Event is not a guided tour – it is a navigational road trip where you will be expected to navigate to it with your own map/Sat Nav system should you become departed from the main group.

All persons booked under the lead name of the booking agree to the Terms & Conditions set out here.

2. Age Restrictions

All participants and their passengers must be 18 or over.

3. Entry Fees

Entry fees must be paid by the deadlines issued, any failure to do so will result in the team being removed from the Event. Deposits and entry fees are non-refundable. The entry fee does not include any personal expenses during the Event, such as fuel, food, fines, repair costs or any other expenses of any kind.

If, for any reason, you decide to withdraw either before or during the Event, your fee is neither transferable nor refundable.

The Event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to the Event.

4. Administration Charges

Once you have entered the Event (deposit paid), your vehicle and member details are final. Any amendments may result in an administration fee being payable (at the discretion of the Event organisers).

5. Documents

a) Driving Licence – all drivers must hold a valid full UK driving licence

b) Vehicle insurance – for all drivers

c) V5C (log book) or ‘vehicle on hire’ certificate

d) MOT certificate – as the condition of a vehicle may deteriorate within the period of an MOT, it is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition for the event.

It is the sole responsibility of the participants to ensure that their documents are in order. They must be valid for the whole duration of the trip. You will be required to provide copies prior to the event which the event organiser will contact you to arrange and you will be required to sign in on the morning of the event at the allocated meeting point.

You cannot participate in any other vehicle than the one registered. Should you need to change your vehicle for whatever reason you must contact the event organiser ASAP prior to the event.

6. Decals

You agree to have the JackRabbit Rally and official Event sponsors’ stickers placed on your vehicle at all times during the Event. All stickers are non-permanent, are easy to remove and will not leave any damage to your vehicle. The Event organisers are therefore not responsible for any claims of damage to your vehicle as a result of applying or removing such stickers. When applying stickers the area should be clean and have been waxed (to allow easy removal). It is essential that a gentle heat is applied to the sticker before attempting to remove it.

7. Local Law

All participants must drive safely and at all times obey the regulations. This includes (but is not limited to) speed regulations, vehicle safety

laws and laws relating to the possession of weapons or use of alcohol or drugs.

8. Accommodation

All participants that are staying at the hotels that we have recommended have reserved rooms via debit/credit card. By doing so you have agreed to the hotel terms and conditions, rules and regulations regarding your stay. JackRabbit Rally will not held responsible for your behaviour during this time or any loss or damages to yourself, your property or to the hotel. Please act responsibly and treat your fellow guests and staff with courtesy and respect.

9. Code of Conduct

All participants must conduct themselves responsibly and in an appropriate manner at all times. You must not consume alcohol whilst driving, drive whilst under the influence of alcohol (or any other intoxicating substance) or drive if your ability to do so safely is compromised by illness, lack of adequate rest, or any other condition. Any illegal behaviour will result in the cancellation of your participation without refund.

10. Responsibility

The Event organisers accept no responsibility for the consequences of you being refused entrance to premises during the Event. Any additional costs incurred are solely the participants’ responsibility.

11. Refunds

An application for a refund by any attendees of the event will be reviewed on a case by case basis. The organisers of the event who reserve the right to make the decision on a refund which will be final.

12. Changes/Cancellation

The Event organisers reserve the right to either change the Event schedule or cancel the Event at any time.

13. Image Rights

All participants consent to be photographed and to be included in any filming of the Event. You consent to the use of your name, image, likeness, voice and biographical material in connection with any and all footage, publicity and related promotional material. Participants are only entitled to take photographs and film footage of the Event for non-commercial purposes.

14. Branding

You are not permitted to use the JackRabbit Rally logos or branding under any circumstance other than placing stickers on your vehicle. This includes any printed material or websites.

15. Force Majeure

The Event organisers cannot accept liability or refund monies if the Event has to be amended or cancelled due to any circumstances outside our control or that we could not foresee or avoid. Such as natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, or traffic delays.

16. Terms and Conditions Changes

The Event organisers reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of the changes and will be deemed to have accepted the amended terms and conditions by participating in the Event.

17. Indemnity

You will indemnify the Event organisers against any and all claims, lawsuits and causes of action brought against them by any third party as a result of your action or participation in the Event, including without limitation, your violation of any laws or regulations or your breach of these Terms and Conditions of entry.

18. Violation of Terms

If any participants violate any of the above terms and conditions or refuse to follow the instructions given prior or during the Event by the Event organisers, you may be prohibited from any or further participation in the Event. Now that the formalities are out the way, we hope you have a fantastic time on the JackRabbit Rally with some great people and some even better motors. We are all there for the same reason and have this great love of cars in common so please remember to respect other drivers in the rally as well as other road users and most of all enjoy the experience.
